Kawana Waters Branch

 

The Royal Australian Air Force Association Kawana Waters Branch currently has vacancies for membership. Monthly General meetings are held at Kawana Waters Surf Life Saving Club on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except December) at 1000 hrs.

The aim is to promote and maintain welfare benefits of members, ex-members of the RAAF and of Her Majesty’s Air Forces, Allied Air Forces and their dependants. We also hold;

- Subsidized lunches after our monthly general meetings

- Regular lunch outings to various venues

- Bus trips of an interesting nature followed by lunch

 

Participation in commemorative activities in conjunction with the RSL and other committee’s;

  • RAAF Birthday March and Service
  • ANZAC Day Parades and Services
  • Remembrance Day
  • Battle for Australia

 

Members are kept informed of developments in our association through;

  • Regular newsletters
  • Guest speakers
  • Wings Magazine

 

Encouraging youth to develop an interest in aviation, in particular the Air Force through;

  • Maintaining close contact with Squadrons of the Australian Air Force Cadets
  •  Attending Squadron Parades and other functions
  • Donation to cadets
