Foam Board + deposit rolled over from last season

This is for members who have already hired a board last season and rolling their deposit over.

LESSEE OBLIGATIONS:

  • Nipper is to attend majority of board training sessions throughout the season.

  • Board is to be maintained in good condition and repaired immediately when damaged, by a professional repairer, at the competitor’s expense. If board is damaged beyond repair during training or private use, the board has to be replaced at the lessee’s expense.

  • If at any time the Club (JA Committee) believes that the board is being misused

and/or the above obligations are not being met; this agreement can be terminated with the board being returned immediately.

  • Requests may be made on Nipper Sundays for leased boards, particularly foamies, to be available to other Nippers. If damage occurs during this activity the club will be responsible for the repair.

  • Board is to be returned by 1st April each season and inspected by the Gear Steward.  Deposit will be refunded only if the board is in reasonable condition, as determined by the Gear Steward. Please note, if the board is not returned by 1st April, you will be invoiced the market value of the board (estimated $500 – $800).

  • If you intend to hold the board in the off season, permission needs to be granted from the Nipper Committee and the board still needs to be brought back for inspection by 1st April. A new agreement must then be signed and any deposits held over reconciled.
